Last week, the San Francisco 49ers signed defensive lineman Zach Kerr to a one-year deal. OverTheCap.com provided the contract details, for those who are interested.

Kerr's deal includes a base salary of $1.075 million with a signing bonus of $50,000 and a total per-game roster bonus of $87,500. $200,000 of the deal is guaranteed.

There is only a $971,094 salary-cap hit due to the veteran salary benefit that was part of last year's new collective bargaining agreement. It allows a team to offer a one-year deal to any player with at least four credited seasons at a reduced salary cap hit.

According to OverTheCap.com, San Francisco currently has nearly $19.6 million in salary-cap space, which ranks as the ninth-most in the league.
