San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk joined Good Morning Football — virtually, of course — on Tuesday morning and was once again asked about the future of his team's quarterback position. Juszczyk has repeatedly voiced his opinion, saying that he fully expects Jimmy Garoppolo to be under center when the 2021 season begins.

"I absolutely believe that Jimmy will be our quarterback this year," Juszczyk told Tom Pelissero, Kim Jones, Nate Burleson, and Kyle Brandt. "I think John and Kyle, they made that very clear. They haven't wavered. Jimmy's our guy. He's going to be starting Week 1. He's going to do what he does. He's going to get us back to winning. He has a proven record of winning. The guy's just a winner. When he's out there, we win games."

Garoppolo has a 24-9 record (including playoffs) as San Francisco's starter. He helped guide the team to the Super Bowl during the 2019 season. However, Garoppolo has also missed 23 games over the past three seasons, making some question his durability.

Juszczyk was asked what it will take for fans and the media to end the Garoppolo debate and stop constantly searching for potential replacements.

"As far as people debating it, I think that's just out of our hands," Juszczyk responded. "I don't think it really matters what he does. But what does matter is when he gets in that huddle, including myself, and there's nine other guys that truly believe in him, and believe that he can lead us and go down there and score. That's what really matters, is what's around us, and we're around him and working with him. So, those guys believe in him, and I think he's going to have a great season."

What about the 49ers' upcoming campaign? Is the team ready to put a disappointing 2020 season behind them and get back to championship form?

"I feel like we're ready to get right back to it," Juszczyk said before noting the return of Trent Williams and the signing of Alex Mack. "... You know what? I kind of like being the sleeping giant, no one talking about us too much. You guys keep it down a little bit. You don't have to let everyone in the league know that we're back and we're going to do this thing."
