Here’s a list of the 49ers’ healthy and available receivers heading into the Packers game

Nov 4, 2020 at 7:18 PM--

While the Green Bay Packers deal with COVID-19 and injury-related issues at running back, the San Francisco 49ers are trying to find enough wide receivers to play in the game. Maybe receivers coach Wes Welker wouldn't mind suiting up.

I could list the unavailable receivers heading into the Thursday-night showdown, but it may be faster to name the healthy and available ones. So here we go.

Trent Taylor.

Done.

That's it. He's the team's top wide-receiver option, as of this post. Richie James Jr. may be available too. He was listed as "questionable" due to an ankle injury, though.

Deebo Samuel was already ruled out due to a hamstring injury when teammate Kendrick Bourne tested positive for COVID-19. Contact tracing landed Samuel on the reserve/COVID-19 list with Bourne. Joining them are rookie receiver Brandon Aiyuk and left tackle Trent Williams.

The 49ers waived Dante Pettis on Tuesday. Maybe they should have waited a few days.

The 49ers have three healthy receivers on the practice squad. One is former first-round pick Kevin White. The other two are (checks list) Chris Finke and River Cracraft. Are you not sure who they are? No one is really going to blame you, but expect at least two of them to be promoted for Thursday night's game.

There was rookie Jauan Jennings, but he recently landed on injured reserve because ... well ... 2020.

49ers' Kyle Juszczyk: 'As long as Jimmy's healthy, I think he's our guy'

Kyle Juszczyk is going to support whoever is lined up under center for the San Francisco 49ers. The plan is for quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo to be that guy when the team travels to Detroit for Week 1. However, San Francisco planned for the future, surrendering future draft picks to trade up to No. 3 overall for Trey Lance. The 49ers own a championship-caliber roster. Garoppolo has led the team to a Super Bowl before, so it's easy to conclude that the team's best chance of getting there again is with the veteran. San Francisco's Pro Bowl fullback joined the Ross Tucker Football Podcast this week and was asked about his team's quarterback situation. It's a topic that Juszczyk has grown used to discussing at length. Most 49ers players probably have. It will

The San Francisco 49ers announced several roster moves today as the team arrived in Santa Clara for training camp. Tom Pelissero of NFL Network had reported earlier that 15 NFL players have been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list as teams prepare to kick off training camps around the league. Fourteen of those resulted from positive tests. Among those 15 players is 49ers cornerback Emmanuel Moseley. He is slated to be the starter across from Jason Verrett. Players placed on Reserve/COVID-19 include

49ers place Jaquiski Tartt, Jauan Jennings on the reserve/COVID-19 list

San Francisco 49ers cornerback Emmanuel Moseley is being joined by two of his teammates on the reserve/COVID-19 list. The Niners announced today that they are placing safety Jaquiski Tartt and wide receiver Jauan Jennings on the list, which means neither will be present for the first training camp practice. 49ers players underwent their first COVID-19 tests yesterday morning, upon reporting to the team's facilities. According to head coach Kyle Shanahan, Tartt was already dealing with a toe injury and was a candidate to land on the active/physical-unable-to-perform (PUP) list. However, the team didn't announce the move. San Francisco made Jennings a seventh-round draft pick last year. He spent his rookie campaign on the practice
