The San Francisco 49ers are set to host the Arizona Cardinals at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday, September 13 at 1:25 p.m. PT. Each week, the
49ers Webzone staff predicts the winner within its annual
NFL Pick 'em contest. That includes writers and
forum moderators.
All 10 participating staff members selected the 49ers to beat the Cardinals. San Francisco is currently a 6.5-point favorite.
As for all the fans who are taking part in our NFL Pick 'em contest,

49ers winning the game, as of this post.
Of all the Week 1 game predictions, the most lopsided result comes from the matchup between the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Voting has 98 percent of fans believing the Bills will earn the victory.
The closest matchup, when it comes to the predictions, is between the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, with 58 percent selecting the Vikings to win the game.

49ers' George Kittle, Charvarius Ward underwent surgeries; Dre Greenlaw aiming for Week 1 return
According to general manager John Lynch, San Francisco 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward wasn't the sole player to undergo core muscle surgery this offseason. Lynch disclosed to reporters at the NFL owners meetings on Monday that All-Pro tight end George Kittle also had the procedure.
However, the silver lining is that both players are expected to be fully cleared for training camp, set to commence at the end of July.

The San Francisco 49ers likely aren't finished fortifying their defense and have reportedly expressed interest in bolstering their defensive backfield. If they require assistance making a significant move, one 49ers player is prepared to lend a helping hand.
Last week, the Buffalo Bills released All-Pro cornerback Tre'Davious White, who appears to be an ideal fit for San Francisco's needs opposite Charvarius Ward. Over the weekend, Ward took to social media to reveal that he and White share the same agent and that he is willing to nudge the free-agent defensive back in the right direction.

The San Francisco 49ers are bolstering their quarterback room by adding a new player. According to his agent, Mike McCartney, the team is signing Josh Dobbs to a one-year deal. McCartney announced the news on social media, confirming the acquisition.
