Watch: Kendrick Bourne, Deebo Samuel, Dante Pettis, other 49ers in Nashville for player-organized workouts

Jun 16, 2020 at 3:02 PM--

A contingent of San Francisco 49ers players is in Nashville, Tennessee this week for player-organized workouts. Fourth-year wide receiver Kendrick Bourne shared several videos via Instagram of the group of participating receivers, which include himself, Deebo Samuel, Dante Pettis, and others.

Several 49ers players, including Bourne and Pettis, had been participating in similar throwing sessions with quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo locally at San Jose State. The group headed to Nashville to allow other players like tight end George Kittle, wide receiver Trent Taylor, and quarterback C.J. Beathard, who spend their offseasons in the area, to participate.

Samuel had been training with teammates Jerick McKinnon and Trent Williams in Houston, Texas, but journeyed to Tennessee to join in this week's workouts.

Players across the league continue to organize their own workouts since COVID-19 precautions have prevented coaches from holding on-field practices at team facilities or even meeting face-to-face with their players.

H/t to Patrick Tulini for the find.

Bill Barnwell of ESPN proposed 13 trades that could happen before the deadline on November 3. The San Francisco 49ers are involved in two hypothetical scenarios. Barnwell notes the Browns' desperation to find help at the safety position, and the 49ers could use someone to help replace injured tight end Jordan Reed, who suffered an MCL sprain on September 27. "Moore was a promising free safety prospect coming out of Southern Miss, but the 2018 third-rounder
