Bruce on his way to visit 49ers

Alex Marvez of FOX Sports reports that former Rams wide receiver Isaac Bruce is on his way to meet with the 49ers at their facility.

Bruce spent the past 14 seasons with St. Louis, including six (2000 to 2005) when Martz was head coach. The Rams released Bruce on Thursday to avoid paying him a $2 million roster bonus.

49ers had to alter travel plans on their way to play Jets due to damage to their own jet

The San Francisco 49ers typically fly out of San Jose International Airport for road games and were set to do so for this two-game stint on the East Coast. Their plans changed, however, when the plane was found to be damaged, forcing the entire team to travel north and leave out of San Francisco International Airport, according to an on-air report by FOX. The 49ers plan to stay on the East Coast between their two games at MetLife Stadium. The team has a comfortable lead late in the fourth quarter against the New York Jets and will return to play the New York Giants in one week. 49ers bringing Ziggy Ansah in for a second visit, per report

The 49ers are continuing to show interest in adding veteran pass rusher Ezekiel "Ziggy" Ansah, according to a Sunday morning report from Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.
