San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle spoke with NBC Sports' Michele Tafoya after his squad beat the Minnesota Vikings 27-10 in the Divisional Round of the playoffs to advance to the team's 16th NFC Championship Game appearance.
It was the first 49ers playoff game at Levi's Stadium and the biggest win of this current regime. So what was the feeling following the victory?
"It's fantastic," Kittle responded, "We just wanted to come out and play good football. I think we did pretty good in all three phases. A lot of things to clean up, but we played well enough to get the win, and that's all you can ask for. Playoff football, anyone can win, and we just made more plays today."
Kittle finished the game with three catches for 16 yards.
San Francisco now awaits the results of Sunday's playoff game between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks. The winner of that contest will travel to Levi's Stadium to play the 49ers in eight days.
