Watch: George Kittle mic’d up during 49ers-Ravens

Dec 3, 2019 at 7:00 AM--

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has now been mic'd up during three games this season. The last time came during Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers, and before that, it was the Week 3 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

And now we have some Kittle audio from Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens, courtesy of 49ers Studios, the team's in-house production studio. The 49ers released the following video of the 26-year-old tight end during the 20-17 loss.

The 49ers made Kittle a fifth-round selection out of Iowa in 2017. He has registered 54 receptions for 687 yards with three touchdowns through 10 starts this season.

Kittle has caught 185 passes for 2,579 yards with 10 touchdowns through his three NFL seasons.

Those are elite wide receiver numbers, and Young, who joined KNBR last week, believes it is enough to blow the roof off the tight end market. "I don't really care what position, I don't really care what tight ends make or wide receivers make," Young said on the

One point. That's how close San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle was to being part of the highly-coveted "99 Club" in Madden NFL 21 by EA Sports. His rating of 98 was the best among NFL tight ends but wasn't enough to make him among the best in this year's installment of the popular multi-platform football video game. What does Kittle think about the snub? He, along with linebacker Fred Warner and punter Mitch Wishnowsky recently spoke with 49ers team reporter Keiana Martin to discuss their ratings. "They don't want me to be great," Kittle told Martin. "That's what it is. They don't want me to be great. Just
