49ers-Packers Injury Report: George Kittle, Deebo Samuel, Emmanuel Sanders listed as questionable; Dee Ford ruled out

Nov 22, 2019 at 1:36 PM--

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 12 contest against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

TE George Kittle (knee, ankle), WR Deebo Samuel (shoulder), and WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs), once again, were limited during practice and wore blue non-contact jerseys. Neither of the three players has taken part in a full practice this week. All three have been listed as "questionable," and each is expected to be a game-day decision.

Kittle has not played since Week 9, a Halloween-night matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

As expected, DE Dee Ford (quadricep, hamstring) has been ruled out against the Packers. General manager John Lynch indicated during a KNBR interview on Friday morning, that would be the case.

RB Matt Breida (ankle) and K Robbie Gould (right quadricep) are listed as "doubtful."

Below are the official injury reports for the 49ers and Packers, which were provided by the 49ers Communications staff. Also included are this week's practice participation reports.

Deebo Samuel was one of the most exciting receivers from last year's draft class because of the versatility that he showed on offense during his rookie campaign. And he's a little tired of the media criticizing his quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo. Samuel was watching ESPN's First Take debate whether or not Garoppolo is ready to become an elite quarterback. The receiver responded by posting on Instagram that Garoppolo is "already elite," and begged for media personalities, like First Take host Stephen A. Smith, to "stop playing," referring to the criticisms of the 49ers

Bryan DeArdo of CBS Sports decided to look back at the 1980s and identify his top-five rivalries of that decade. There are several to choose from, which might make such a subjective list challenging to create. The San Francisco 49ers were represented within the ranking, not once, but twice. Sitting at No. 5 was the rivalry between the 49ers and the Minnesota Vikings. DeArdo lists the best game of the decade between the two teams as the October 30, 1988 matchup that saw the 49ers beat the Vikings 24-21. San Francisco owned a 5-3 regular-season record against Minnesota during the 80s, winning during
