The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for their Week 6 contest against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles, California.
The 49ers are already without starting left tackle Joe Staley, and the anchor on the other side of the offensive line, Mike McGlinchey, was nowhere to be seen at the start of Wednesday's practice.
Head coach Kyle Shanahan revealed after practice that McGlinchey will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee and will miss four to six weeks. Daniel Brunskill will start at right tackle in his place.
