San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa's Week 5 performance against the Cleveland Browns at Levi's Stadium on Monday night has earned him a Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week Award nomination.

Bosa finished the game with four combined tackles, two sacks, five quarterback hits, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery during the 31-3 victory.

The other award nominees are Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Gardner Minshew, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, Oakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs, and Carolina Panthers linebacker Brian Burns.

Bosa does have the advantage of being the only nominated player who played during primetime.

Wide receiver Deebo Samuel was the last 49ers player to be nominated for the award, which occurred after Week 2. He did not end up winning.
