The San Francisco 49ers interviewed eight players following Tuesday's practice in preparation for the 2018 Senior Bowl, according to Charlie Campbell of Walter Football and Jonathan Valencia of Breaking Football.
"Typically, these interviews with area scouts are to set up longer, formal interviews for a night during the week," writes Campbell.
Participants in the Senior Bowl are split between a North team and a South team. This year, Vance Joseph of the Denver Broncos will be the head coach of the North squad while Bill O'Brien of the Houston Texans will lead the South squad.

There are two more practices for each squad scheduled for this week. They will take place Wednesday and Thursday.
The Senior Bowl, which takes place on January 27, concludes bowl season for college football. It will take place at Ladd–Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Alabama and be broadcast live on NFL Network.
