The San Francisco 49ers won their fifth game of the season and fourth-straight by defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday at Levi's Stadium. San Francisco improves to 5-10 and has now won five of its last six games. Jacksonville drops to 10-5.

Below is a mix of some key player and team stats provided by the 49ers Communications staff and Pro Football Focus.

Key Player Statistics

Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo opened the game by leading the 49ers on a 10-play, 79-yard drive that ended with the quarterback running for a one-yard touchdown. It was the first 49ers touchdown scored on the opening possession of a game since October 11, 2016, against the New York Jets.

With the win, Garoppolo became the first 49ers quarterback since the merger in 1970 to win each of his first four starts with the team.

Garoppolo finished the game completing 21 of 30 attempts for 242 yards, two touchdowns, an interception, and a passer rating of 102.4. That rating is the highest allowed by the Jaguars this season.

Garoppolo's 1,250 passing yards while starting for the 49ers are the most by a quarterback during his first four starts in franchise history.

Garoppolo's 1,250 passing yards are the most by a quarterback in his first four starts with a new franchise, surpassing Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner, who had 1,217.

Garoppolo was under pressure during just eight of his 32 dropbacks. He was 17-of-23 for 198 yards, a touchdown, and a passer rating of 114.0 while not under pressure.

Left tackle Joe Staley and left guard Laken Tomlinson allowed just one quarterback hurry each.

Right tackle Zane Beadles struggled against the Jaguars, allowing a quarterback hit and three hurries. He has allowed 15 quarterback pressures in the last three games.

Fullback Kyle Juszczyk registered a career-long 44-yard reception and set a single-game career-high with 76 receiving yards. His previous career-high was 64 receiving yards two weeks ago against the Houston Texans.

Juszczyk caught all five of his targets. 49ers quarterbacks have a passer rating of 111.4 when targeting Juszczyk this season.

The 49ers defense pressured Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles on 18 of his 54 dropbacks. All three of his interceptions came when he was not under pressure.

Defensive tackle DeForest Buckner had a quarterback hit, three hurries, and a batted pass.

Cornerback Dontae Johnson's interception returned for a touchdown was the first pick-six by the 49ers since defensive back Jimmie Ward accomplished it against the Chicago Bears on December 6, 2015.

Cornerback K'Waun Williams had an interception, a pass defensed, and allowed only 11 yards in coverage.

Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon allowed just three catches on seven targets for 33 yards with an interception and a pass defensed.

Key Team Statistics

The 49ers have won four consecutive games for the first time since 2013 when the team won six straight from Weeks 12-17.

The 49ers' 44 points were the most allowed by the Jaguars this season and San Francisco's most since October 7, 2012, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (45). The 49ers six touchdowns were the most by the team since the scored six against the Jaguars on October 27, 2013.

The 49ers offense's 26 first downs were the most by the team since September 12, 2016, when they had 28 against the Los Angeles Rams.

The 49ers defense held the Jaguars to 92 rushing yards on 28 carries. San Francisco has now held their opponent under 100 yards rushing for the fifth-consecutive game.

Breaking down the 49ers drafts under John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan

By Marc Adams
Apr 20

We are less than one week away from the NFL Draft, and the San Francisco 49ers have their first day-one draft pick since 2021. That was the year they selected QB Trey Lance number three overall. The trade-up to get Lance cost the 49ers their first-round picks in 2022 and 2023. And now that they are back in the first round, at pick 31, fans are anxious to see what the team does with the pick. And with former assistant GM, Adam Peters, now in Washington, it will be interesting to see how well the 49ers draft without Peters in the room. We looked back at the seven drafts GM John Lynch and Head Coach Kyle Shanahan have led to see what information we could pull from those drafts. There were plenty of hits, plenty of misses, and a few surprises along the way. The draft picks are

49ers address both sides of the ball in Kiper and Yates 3-round mock draft

By David Bonilla
Apr 15

We're just 10 days away from the start of the 2024 NFL Draft. While many gain more confidence about their projections for the top of the first round, the picture of what might happen further down remains murky. Most predict the San Francisco 49ers will use their first selection, No. 31 overall, on an offensive lineman. However, an early run on the position may alter those plans. The 49ers may address another position, or they may have to move up to secure a top prospect. ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. and Field Yates recently revealed a joint three-round mock draft, examining the top 100 selections and forecasting

Schrager mock draft has 49ers adding 'universally liked and respected' receiver

By David Bonilla
Apr 16

With only nine days remaining until the start of the 2024 NFL Draft, Good Morning Football's Peter Schrager revealed his first mock draft of the year. While most might expect the San Francisco 49ers to target an offensive lineman, Schrager has the team bolstering its wide receiver corps with an SEC talent. Schrager has the 49ers using the No. 31 overall pick to select former Georgia wide receiver Ladd McConkey, whose 2023 campaign with the Bulldogs was limited by back and ankle injuries. "McConkey in the first round? Yes," Schrager wrote. "Above guys like Troy Franklin and Keon Coleman? Perhaps. I've spoken to a
