If the San Francisco 49ers are going to mount a comeback against the Arizona Cardinals, it will have to be without some key players. FOX sideline reporter Laura Okmin spoke to head coach Kyle Shanahan and said a number players suffered injuries that will keep them out for the remainder of the game.
Wide receiver Trent Taylor (ribs), safety Jaquiski Tartt (wrist), and linebacker Elijah Lee (knee) all left the game due to injuries and were listed as out.
Earlier in the game, tight end George Kittle left the game with a leg injury and was taken to the 49ers locker room for X-rays. He briefly returned to the game but looked uncomfortable before exiting again. Garrett Celek replaced him. Tight end Cole Hikutini (knee) is also out due to injury.
The 49ers went into halftime trailing the Cardinals by a score of 14-3.
