The San Francisco 49ers have announced the signing of defensive lineman Noble Nwachukwu to the team's practice squad. To make room, the team has released defensive lineman Jeremy Liggins.
Nwachukwu originally signed with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of West Virginia on May 4. He was released on September 2 and then signed the next day to the team's practice squad, where he remained until he was released on October 11.
Liggins was originally signed to San Francisco's practice squad on October 11.
