Monday Injury Report: DeForest Buckner returns to full practice

The San Francisco 49ers released Monday's player participation report leading into practice at 11:25 a.m.

DT DeForest Buckner will return as a full participant in practice after suffering an ankle injury last Wednesday. He had not participated in team drills since then but will so do on Monday. Also returning as a full practice participant is TE George Kittle.

The team has also announced that LB Malcolm Smith will be placed on injured reserve after suffering a torn pectoral muscle during Saturday's practice.

CB Adrian Colbert (ankle), LB Brock Coyle (rib), Zach Franklin (ankle), OL Joshua Garnett (knee), LB Eli Harold (concussion), RB Tim Hightower (knee), and S Jaquiski Tartt (rib). Colbert, Hightower, and Harold are listed as "day-to-day."
