49ers among teams hosting LB Jonathan Calvin for an official visit

The San Francisco 49ers are among numerous teams that will be hosting Mississippi State LB Jonathan Calvin for an official visit, per DraftAnalyst.com. While he played on the defensive line in college, DraftAnalyst.com lists Calvin as an outside linebacker. According to the report, the Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders are the other teams that will host Calvin.

Calvin was a junior transfer who made 10 starts in 2015 at Mississippi State. During that season, he had 27 tackles, with 5.5 for a loss, and 1.5 sacks while playing on the defensive line, per Sports-Reference.com. In 2016, Calvin had 55 tackles, with 12 for a loss, seven sacks, an interception, a pass defended, and two forced fumbles.
