Report: 49ers ‘in the mix’ for Bengals DT Domata Peko

Mar 8, 2017 at 9:45 AM--

The San Francisco 49ers are reportedly among the teams that are "in the mix" for Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Domata Peko, per Pro Football Talk.

While the Bengals would like to retain him, the 49ers, Minnesota Vikings, and Philadelphia Eagles are also interested in signing the 32-year-old defensive lineman.

Peko has spent his entire pro career with Cincinnati – the team that drafted him out of Michigan State in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Over that 11-year career, Peko has 516 tackles, 18.5 sacks, and 12 passes defended. In 2015, he had 35 tackles, but five sacks. Peko has started all 16 games nine times over his career.
