Many mock drafts hadn't even been updated yet following the Los Angeles Rams trade to the number one spot last week. Now, another trade occurred today that gave the Philadelphia Eagles the number two overall pick from the Cleveland Browns. These trades will take some time to trickle down to many of the mock drafts, especially the independent ones.

You can tell the massive impact the Rams trade has had on the mock drafts that have been updated. Some had the San Francisco 49ers trading up to move into a spot to get one of the two top quarterbacks in Cal's Jared Goff or North Dakota State's Carson Wentz. However, a good majority of them had the 49ers staying put at number seven, which is now the likely scenario since the Eagles-Browns trade.

Goff continues to lead mocks, but only because a good number of the mocks have not been updated following the Rams move, much less the Eagles move. Expect that number to continue to drop significantly over the next week.
