We are once again excited to bring you 49erswebzone.com's first ever video podcast, episode two.
In which we quickly discuss what we took from Week Two's defeat in Pittsburgh at the hands of the Steelers and we discuss keys for the upcoming game in Arizona against the Cardinals in Week Three. Plus some extra insight and laughs during our 2-minute warning.
Last but not least our picks for all NFL games this week where we are making our picks against the spread from this episode and going forward.
Finally we would like to thank all of you who gave us some sort of feedback after our episode last week. As you will see we have already implemented some changes but we will continue to look forward to your comments, questions, and suggestions to continue to bring you better content each and every time.

I went back and watched the Viking game to compare with the Steelers debacle. I was encouraged by one thing, the Niners played much faster in the 1st game and were sleepwalking in the second. I think they had a major case of jet-lag, even though the team dismissed this as an excuse (to their credit). One play stood out. After seeing Reid cheat toward the line of scrimmage to disguise coverage against the Steelers and then be late getting back, I saw the same technique against the Vikings. In this case he flew out of disguise and was easily in position by the time the play started. The difference in speed was very noticeable. And when you see Staley and Boone getting handled, you know something's not right. The pass rush was invisible and Rothlinsberger had all day and, again, the DL and LBs looked sluggish. We may still have lost if the Niners were fresh, but they had no chance as a tired team.
Well, I for one have no intention of clicking on the videos to spend 30 minutes getting the information I used to get in three. And nothing in the above two stills from the videos would lead me to believe I'm missing out on insightful commentary. I hope that somewhere therein is some recognition of what a train wreck Jed York has made of this franchise. However, the comment from Rishikesh makes me think that you two might still be detached from reality. I hope we're not going to start confusing piling up meaningless garbage time passing stats at the end of a blowout as QB growth. "Watch out NFC." Good grief.

First the feedback ; Your show is a breath of fresh air, two Niner fans talking about the way things are and could be.
We see the improvement in Kap's game, as both of you observed, now I think we're going to see a blast off very soon. He hit 10 different receivers in the Steeler game. We finally have a short, intermediate and deep game. If the center can show some growth watch out NFC.

49ers hosting Arizona WR Jacob Cowing on pre-draft visit

The San Francisco 49ers are welcoming former Arizona wide receiver Jacob Cowing for a pre-draft visit as NFL teams finalize their evaluations ahead of the draft deadline. News of the visit comes from Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 in Houston.
During his 2023 senior season, Cowing registered 90 receptions for 848 yards and 13 touchdowns in 13 games, per Sports Reference. His best statistical season came in 2021 at UTEP, when he amassed a career-high 1,354 receiving yards and seven touchdowns, averaging an impressive 19.6 yards per catch. Cowing followed that up with a 1,034-yard, seven-touchdown campaign in 2022 after transferring to Arizona.
