Colin Keapernick’s protest is both worthy and legitimate

Two questions should be asked anytime someone stages a protest, as 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick by sitting during the National Anthem of the last two preseason games. First, is what he is protesting legitimate? And secondly, does the protest hurt anyone? The answer to the first question is yes. Black and Brown populations get routinely stopped, and checked, beaten and in rare instances shot and killed by police, or some sort of security entity. That's been true since before we became a nation. And while advances have been made, the instances of beatings and killings of, particularly African Americans, seem to be on the rise with Michael Brown, Eric Garner,

The San Francisco 49ers have overhauled their defensive line in free agency, bidding farewell to defensive tackle Arik Armstead and defensive end Chase Young while bolstering their ranks with the signings of defensive ends Leonard Floyd and Yetur Gross-Matos. Additionally, they acquired defensive tackle Maliek Collins via trade.
Having focused primarily on the defensive side of the ball in free agency, the 49ers are widely anticipated to turn their attention to the offensive side in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

When Josh Dobbs signed a one-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers as a free agent, he was already familiar with at least one new teammate. Dobbs played two seasons alongside Jauan Jennings, the Niners' dependable and physical wide receiver, at the University of Tennessee, and was thrilled to reunite with him in Santa Clara. San Francisco made Jennings a seventh-round draft pick in 2020. Four years later, they find themselves teammates once again.
Jennings recently joined Dobbs on his podcast, "Torchbearers." The two reminisced about their time at Tennessee before briefly discussing their reunion with the Niners.

Analyst Steve Palazzolo unveiled a first-round mock draft for Pro Football Focus, attempting to forecast the selections for each NFL team within the top 32 picks. While the San Francisco 49ers concentrated on strengthening the defensive line in free agency, Palazzolo envisions the team continuing to fortify that side of the ball.
In his mock draft, Palazzolo predicts that the 49ers will select former Iowa State cornerback T.J. Tampa with the No. 31 overall pick.
