Source: 49ers host CFL star Rogers for workout

The 49ers hosted standout Canadian Football League wide receiver Eric Rogers for a workout Monday, a league source said. Rogers, 24, led the CFL with 1,448 receiving yards, tied for the league lead in receiving touchdowns (10) and was third in receptions (87) this season with the Calgary Stampeders. Last year, the 49ers had interest in at least two CFL stars: wide receiver Duron Carter and cornerback Delvin Breaux. Carter is on the Colts practice squad, while Breaux has started all 13 games for the Saints.
