49ers Ticket Sales Slump Despite Going for $35 on StubHub

Despite a victory against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, tickets to see the San Francisco 49ers in action may not be the hot commodity they once were.Tickets on StubHub sold for as little as $35, but empty seats indicated that the bargain sale didn't push people to Levi's Stadium.Some loyal fans who paid more for their tickets were in disbelief at the low turnout at Sunday's winning game."It's [painful] because I spent a lot on tickets," said Mario Perez of Castro Valley. "But I'm content. I'm a diehard fan."Still, Niners supporters such as Perez rejoiced all the same after the team trumped the Falcons.Some fans credited Blaine Gabbert for the 17-16 victory and were impressed by his performance as quarterback."I think he did really well," said Ben Portusach of San Mateo. "He was more instinctive, and he didn't pause with the ball…overall it was a great game."Others even went on to say that they agreed with this week's decision to bench starting quarterback Colin Kaepernick in favor of Gabbert."I think it was about time," said San Francisco resident Connor Smith.
