4 Arrested in Connection with Alleged Assault After 49ers Game

Four people have been arrested in connection with an alleged assault after Monday's San Francisco 49ers game at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, police announced Friday.Felix Chavira, 32, of Hollister, Juan Arias, 33, of Hollister, Eric Martinez, 30, of San Jose, and a 17-year-old girl were arrested Thursday on suspicion of felony assault, police Lt. Kurt Clarke said.The alleged assault happened outside the stadium's "C" gate near a parking lot after the team won 20-3 in its season opener against the Minnesota Vikings, Clarke said.Officers were sent to the scene but were unable to find the people involved in the incident, according to Clarke.In a statement, the 49ers said one of the alleged assailants was identified as a season ticket holder. "As a result of his behavior, the Santa Clara Stadium Authority is terminating the individual's Stadium Builders License and the 49ers are revoking his season tickets."The assault was captured on a video widely circulated on social media the next day that shows a male victim in a Vikings jersey punched and kicked by people in 49ers jerseys.The video also shows security personnel in yellow jackets attempting to break up the fight....
