Rex Ryan has himself an offensive coordinator. The Bills announced Tuesday that Greg Roman will run the offense in Buffalo for Ryan. Reports that Roman would be joining Ryan in Buffalo cropped up a short time after word that Ryan would be remaining in the AFC East, so the announcement comes with as little surprise...

The San Francisco 49ers have announced the signing of tight end Eric Saubert to a one-year deal. The team also officially announced the previously reported signing of running back Patrick Taylor Jr. to a one-year deal.
The 49ers Communications staff provided the following rundowns.
Saubert (6-5, 248) was originally drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the fifth round (174th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. Throughout his seven-year NFL career with the Falcons (2017-18), Chicago Bears (2019), Jacksonville Jaguars (2020), Denver Broncos (2021-22), Dallas Cowboys (2023) and Houston Texans (2023), he has appeared in 84 games

With the 2024 NFL Draft in the near future, it seems the prevailing thought around the league is that the 49ers will need to address the offensive line. While the Niners do boast one of the league's elite players in LT Trent Williams, the rest of the unit has struggled in spots. In fact, San Francisco's right tackle and both guard positions allowed a pressure percentage of over 20% in 2023.
Former Pro Bowl offensive lineman and current NFL analyst Mark Schlereth joined the No Huddle podcast to discuss the current state of the o-line. He noted that when you force San Francisco out of its comfort zone, the weaknesses upfront tend to show up.

The San Francisco 49ers announced the signing of wide receiver Trent Taylor to a one-year deal, reuniting with the team's former fifth-round draft pick out of Louisiana Tech.
Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area was the first to report that the 49ers were discussing a potential reunion with Taylor. The receiver was part of head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch's first draft class in 2017 and spent his first four NFL seasons with the team.

The San Francisco 49ers are hosting several draft prospects this week as the deadline for pre-draft visits draws near. According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2, the team will host former Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley on Wednesday.
Corley is expected to be a Day 2 pick. San Francisco owns two selections on Day 2—the No. 63 overall pick in the second round and the No. 94 overall pick in the third round. Currently, the receiver is visiting with the Seattle Seahawks.
