Sep 23, 2014 at 8:30 AM--

There were times during Sunday's game against the Cardinals that 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh didn't look like his fiery self.As he watched his team lose its second straight game, Harbaugh appeared almost dazed as he stood on the sideline.Yet the fourth-year head coach was back to normal Monday afternoon, speaking his own special language in explaining how his team will bounce back, beginning with Sunday's game at Levi's Stadium against the 3-0 Philadelphia Eagles.Harbaugh, who has long drawn attention for his special rhetorical style, provided another entry in the book of Harbaughisms with his explanation of how his team will work to get back on the winning track. When he was asked if any faith has been lost in the locker room, Harbaugh emphatically said no."You push up against something until it's upright," he said. "That is the process our team uses. I have total belief in everyone associated with our program, coaches, players, everybody involved. Leonard Floyd is eager to begin working with his new San Francisco 49ers coaches and teammates. In free agency, the team signed the former Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams pass rusher to line up opposite star defensive end Nick Bosa, providing a boost to a defensive front that was inconsistent in 2023. Floyd matched his career-high with 10.5 sacks last season with the Bills, a statistic that would have tied with Bosa for the 49ers' team-high in 2023. In a recent interview with team reporter Lindsey Pallares, Floyd was asked how he believes his skillset complements Bosa's. Over the last couple of years, the 49ers have been in the unique position of not having to pay much money (relatively) to stock their quarterback room while reaping the benefits of superb play from their starting signal-caller. However,

If they require assistance making a significant move, one 49ers player is prepared to lend a helping hand. Last week, the Buffalo Bills released All-Pro cornerback Tre'Davious White, who appears to be an ideal fit for San Francisco's needs opposite Charvarius Ward. Over the weekend, Ward took to social media to reveal that he and White share the same agent and that he is willing to nudge the free-agent defensive back in the right direction. Ward described White as a "hand in glove
