Are the picks coming for Chris Cook?

Aug 4, 2014 at 8:15 PM--

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- If Chris Cook keeps this up, he may have something for his mantle very soon. When the San Francisco 49ers signed Cook this offseason, the book on him was he had poor play-making ability. The reason? The former second-round pick has exactly zero interceptions in four NFL seasons. However, if his first training camp with the 49ers is any indication that may change. Cook has shown a flare for the ball in camp and he had a big day in front of about 10,000 fans in the 49ers' first practice at Levi's Stadium on Monday.
