Matt Maiocco of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports the following:
The 49ers had three players in for workouts on Tuesday, including seven-year veteran DE Tony Bryant, whom the Saints let go on the final cut-down day. Bryant recorded 17.5 sacks with the Raiders in four seasons before moving on to the Saints for the past three years. He recorded four sacks for the Saints last season. The 49ers are just keeping tabs on Bryant, in case they feel the need to add a lineman in the coming weeks.
The 49ers also invited in two former Oregon State DTs, Sir Henry Anderson and Alvin Smith. Anderson was recently released by the Giants, while Smith did not stick with the Chargers.
