The re-signing of special teams ace Kassim Osgood on Monday essentially shrinks the candidates to make the team at receiver.Osgood is officially listed as a receiver, but make no mistake -- he's on the team because he is a supreme special teamer. Osgood played sparingly at receiver last season yet he is counted as one on the 53-man roster. The 49ers will likely keep six receivers, including Osgood on the roster in 2014.In addition to Osgood (it's a longshot that he doesn't make the team), starters Anquan Boldin and Michael Crabtree and promising second-year player Quinton Patton are locks to make the roster.
