SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- The Washington Redskins are hiring Jay Gruden as head coach on Thursday. ESPN's Adam Schefter previously reported that the Redskins had interest in 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman and defensive coordinator Vic Fangio.Roman has also received interest from the Minnesota Vikings and Penn State.
