After multiple reports indicated White would work out with the Giants on Tuesday, one week after working out for the 49ers, multiple reports now indicate that he won't. Following the initial flurry of free agency activity, ESPN's Bill Barnwell took a closer look at the remaining unsigned players, identifying ideal landing spots for each. Among the prospects, cornerback Tre'Davious White found himself connected with the San Francisco 49ers as a prime fit.

CBS Sports draft writer Josh Edwards reports that the San Francisco 49ers will host former Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley on a pre-draft visit in Santa Clara in April.
