According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, the Green Bay Packers have started taking calls from teams interested in trading for Javon Walker. They have stated in the past that they have no interest in trading the disgruntled wide receiver. However, they are now stating that a trade would only happen if the price were right.

While Schefter reports that the teams most interested are Denver and Philadelphia, he also states that at least three other teams are interested. The 49ers did show some interest in the past but were the ones to back out of a possible trade.

The 49ers no longer possess a second round pick this year and it is unlikely that they would give up one of their 2006 first rounders for Walker.
