As expected and hinted at on our training camp page, the San Francisco 49ers will be limiting fan access to training camp to just one practice this year. Typically, the team makes about ten practice sessions available for fans to attend and watch. However, due to the construction for the 49ers' new stadium across the street from the team's headquarters and practice facility, fan access would have been very difficult to set up.
The only fan accessible practice will take place during the team's annual Fan Fest on August 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m at Candlestick Park.
Tickets are available now and can be purchased here for $5 each with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the 49ers Foundation. Children ages 12 and under are free and do not require a ticket.
As in past years, the event will have activities for fans and their kids. Fans will have an opportunity to explore the stadium's Grand Plaza which will feature food, music, memorabilia, merchandise for sale and a chance to meet the Gold Rush and 49ers alumni.
Autographs will be available after the team's practice.
