News of the visit comes from Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 in Houston. During his 2023 senior season, Cowing registered 90 receptions for 848 yards and 13 touchdowns in 13 games, per Sports Reference. His best statistical season came in 2021 at UTEP, when he amassed a career-high 1,354 receiving yards and seven touchdowns, averaging an impressive 19.6 yards per catch. He further stated that the Steelers are confident they can finalize a deal for the star player. NFL Communications has officially announced the "NFL legends and active players" who will announce selections during Day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft. Representing the San Francisco 49ers will be former defensive tackle Anthony "Spice" Adams, who spent four seasons with the team and nine in the NFL.
