Jul 27, 2011 at 9:51 AM--

Matt Barrows, hot off a good interview on KBWF (yes, we are stalking you Barrows), reports on Twitter (@mattbarrows), "The 49ers have agreed to a one-year deal with free agent center Tony Wragge, according to a league source."

Also from Barrows' Twitter:

Wragge's signing obviously prompted by Baas' imminent departure. He's now only player on the roster who's started at center, albeit 2 games.

At the start of free agency, the San Francisco 49ers signed defensive end Leonard Floyd to a two-year deal worth $20 million, with $12 million guaranteed. It has been the team's most significant offseason move thus far. OverTheCap.com recently revealed Floyd's contract details. While the deal may be for two years, three void years are attached to the contract, allowing the defensive end's $10.79 million signing bonus to be spread through 2028. Floyd's impact in 2024 is minimal. He is scheduled to earn a guaranteed $1.21 million base salary and count only $3.418 million against this year's salary cap. The following are the details of Floyd's

The San Francisco 49ers are actively working to sign wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk to a contract extension, aiming to maintain their talented young core of players. The team has reached agreements with star players during each of the last four offseasons, securing George Kittle in 2020, Fred Warner in 2021, Deebo Samuel in 2022, and Nick Bosa in 2023. Another key contributor poised for a new deal next offseason is quarterback Brock Purdy. Over the last couple of years, the 49ers have been in the unique position of not having to pay much money (relatively) to stock their quarterback room while reaping the benefits of superb play from their starting signal-caller. However,

Power rankings in March don't mean much, given that the draft has yet to occur, but they offer an early glimpse into the media's perspective regarding each team's chances during the upcoming season. Fresh off a Super Bowl appearance and coming agonizingly close to securing their sixth Lombardi Trophy, the San Francisco 49ers approach the 2024 season with optimism. Despite enduring a gut-wrenching loss, their offseason moves signal a determined effort to bolster their roster for another run at Super Bowl glory. The 49ers' defensive front underwent significant renovations in free agency. The team parted ways with Arik Armstead but welcomed potential impact players like Leonard Floyd and Maliek Collins. Mar 19

Offensive lineman Jon Feliciano and linebacker Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles recently re-signed with the San Francisco 49ers on one-year deals. OverTheCap.com has revealed the contract information for both deals. Feliciano signed a contract that includes the minimum base salary for a player with eight accrued seasons of experience—$1.21 million. Flannigan-Fowles' base salary is slightly higher, at about $1.77 million. Feliciano is scheduled to count about $2.28 million against the 2024 salary cap, while Flannigan-Fowles is slated to consume almost $1.3 million. The linebacker's reduced impact is due to the 49ers using a portion of up to $1.45 million of salary that won't count against the salary cap for veteran players. The 49ers are paying Feliciano a
