Jimmy Garoppolo makes everyone look better. It's not just the 49ers' offensive linemen and wide receivers. It's their once-embattled owner, Jed York, their once-beleaguered ex-president, Paraag Marathe, and even general manager John Lynch and head coach Kyle Shanahan. About those last two: They weren't exactly under fire in November when they were the faces of the first 0-9 team in the franchise's 72-year history, but it's stunning how many IQ points they've gained in the past three months.
