NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock and ESPN analyst Mel Kiper posted their big boards prior to the start of the 2017 NFL Draft. 32 of the players from each of those boards were selected in the first round on Thursday. The San Francisco 49ers selected two of them, getting Stanford defensive end Solomon Thomas with the third overall selection and then Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster with the 31st overall selection.

Day 2 of the draft, which will take us through rounds two and three, kicks off on Friday at 4 p.m. PT (7 p.m. ET). Currently, the 49ers do not hold a selection within the second round but they have two selections in the third round – which happen to be back-to-back at numbers 66 and 67 overall.

49ers general manager John Lynch is a fan of Mayock. "I'll tell you one thing, not to give guys plugs but like Mike Mayock, that sucker, every pro day I was at, he was at," Lynch said Monday. "He's out there doing the work. Probably, someone who's showing up and doing the work, you tend to listen to guys like that a little more."

There is no word on what Lynch thinks of Kiper.

With 32 players on each big board now gone, below are the 50 top remaining players available as round two gets set to kick off.

San Francisco has recently bolstered its defensive end spot opposite Nick Bosa by signing

Cowherd: Paying Brock Purdy will transform the 49ers into the Cowboys

By David Bonilla

This week, San Francisco 49ers CEO Jed York remarked that the team is preparing to offer quarterback Brock Purdy a substantial deal next year. York views this as a "good problem" because it signifies that, after several setbacks, the 49ers have finally identified their franchise signal-caller. "I mean, it's what the market is," York said at the NFL owners meetings. "It's not like Brock is going to ask for something that no one has ever asked for before. You have, I don't know how many players making over $40 million as a quarterback right now." York added, "And whether I like it or not, that's what the market is, and you have to accept the reality of the world. And to me, the
