On the Rams' second drive, cornerback Tramaine Brock intercepted Goff and returned the pick 39 yards to the Rams' 17-yard line. The flurry began with a one-yard scoring run by Todd Gurley to cap a 52-yard drive highlighted by a 24-yard pass from Goff to Lance Kendricks on 4th-and-2. On the next play, wide receiver Tavon Austin took a jet sweep and sprinted 30 yards to give the Rams a 14-7 lead.
