Of note: Jeremiah has Wentz going at Pick 4 to Dallas. Goff to CLE as widely speculated and Paxton slipping all the way to LA at 15.
I thought kiper had us drafting treadwell?

At least that's what was said in ESPN?

Thanks - I'll change it. I don't have an ESPN subscription and the website I found had us taking Stanley.

Happy to do it
Great work Slowriot keeping us updated. I'm really ready to land a top wr that can be included with the best in the league. It's been long enough.
Great wr should be number 1. We haven't had a top 10 offense since 2000 f**king 3!!! Our ol will improve with Davis coming back and the offense will improve with chip. However taking wrs in the 4th 3 years in a row won't do much for us. We need to spend it on a wr. Even if it only produces a Michael Floyd type production it's worth it.

As long as it's not Goff for chips offense I'm good. Wr or oline would be best choice. Goff can't take off if he needs to. And chip like qbs that can take off

Not as much as he likes QBs that are consistently accurate

I'm not sure there is a can't miss WR prospect in this years draft. Treadwell is closer to a slightly-better-than-Crabtree-level talent than a Julio Jones type imo.

If this is true, he is not worth a 7th ovr at all. Here, anyone has to have an all-pro talent, WRs, CBs, TEs and ILBs in particular. Otherwise, not worth the pick, imho.

There's much better talent at the top of the draft at DB, OT and LB - and QB depending on who you're asking - than at WR or TE
San Diego Tribune, Eddie Brown, Jan 20
Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss
It's possible new head coach Chip Kelly keeps Colin Kaepernick around, so I'm not convinced they go quarterback here. It's also sounding like there is a chance former All-Pro right tackle Anthony Davis returns from an early retirement. That leaves wide receiver as a major need. Treadwell has recovered nicely from last season's gruesome leg injury. His potential at the next level? Think a middle class Dez Bryant or Julio Jones. Top needs: RT, WR, QB

Pro Football Focus, Jan 22
San Francisco 49ers: Josh Doctson, WR, TCU
The quarterback class is filled with question marks beyond Goff, so it doesn't make sense for the 49ers to reach at this point. Instead, the future franchise QB gets one of the draft's top playmakers in Doctson who has the body control to make spectacular catches and route running to create separation. He was the nation's top-graded WR at +26.9 before going down to injury in Week 11.
