Cuts
Phil Dawson
Stevie Johnson if he doesn't drop his salary to no more then 2.5 mil
Ahmed Brooks (post June 1)
+/- 13.8 mil in cap savings
+/- 20 mil of total space

Extend
Vernon Davis 2 years
It's a very weak TE class this year, so it would be better to draft his succesor next year. And not overpay a FA.

Re-sign
Frank Gore We "should" probably move on from Gore but I want him to retire a 49er. But we do have to split the carries more.
Kyle Nelson

FA
DE Darnell Dockett
Qb Jake Locker
WR Cecil Shorts, Nate Washington, Hakeem Nicks, Denaruis Moore or Michael Crabtree
Just need a vet as insurance on a 1 year deal . Up to 4 Mil for Crabtree would be prefered.

Trade
Wilhoite to the Bears for a 7th
Down in the 2nd. Our 2nd and 5th for the Panthers 2nd and 3rd.

Great post!
This would be great!
Would be just fine with this
love it! not sure you need to sign a WR in FA though. This is probably on of the top 3 mocks I've seen so far!

We would probably have to move up for Parker.
This could work!
good stuff ....Damien Wilson is a gladiator, he would make the active roster IMO , another Big 10 Gem in the mold of Borland
That seems like a bad trade for the Panthers (giving up a 3rd round pick to move up 11 spots in the 2nd and getting a 5th round pick favors us on the trade calculator by about 2%) and I'm not sure who would be there at 46 that they feel they need to trade up for. Looking at the players who will be available at those spots, Carolina's picks seem more attractive, but they are probably more attractive the the Panthers too. I do like the idea of either moving back in the 2nd or trading up in the 3rd to try to get either Mario Edwards or Preston Smith if we don't address DL in the first round and Carl Davis is gone at 46. I'd be happy with Ekpre-Olomu, Ronald Darby, Eric Rowe, or Cedric Ogbuehi with our 2nd pick in the 3rd round.

I don't know if we'd go for Mitch Morse given we have some depth inside and need a swing tackle and he has 32 1/4" arms which is way too short for tackle. Ogbuehi is the guy I really want in the middle rounds because he has the length and athleticism to be a solid swing tackle and maybe develop into a quality LT and replace Staley some day.

Overall, solid mock that addresses our needs and I love the first 3 rounds if we could pull off a trade like that.

Great post, would like to see us pick up Quinten Rollins maybe in the 3rd.

Our picks 46 and 143 add up to 474.5 points.
Car. Picks 57 and and 89 add up to 475 points. I'm not sure how that's not fair.

And if I'm going to say were going to trade down, I have to come up with some team that fits (which is obviously just a guess) . If the Panthers take the best player available in the first I can see them trading up to get a starter at tackle because they don't have a left tackle, seeing that there's about five potential first-round picks OT's. One could slide. And I could definitely see them trying to get ahead of the Chargers who also need a OT.

Really? I think he would be fine as a deep threat...he has a huge catch radius and he ran a 4.45 which is plenty fast for how big he is. He can track the ball and make adjustments.

I mean AJ Green ran a slower time then him and they have very similar bodies. Mike Evans isn't a burner but is a good deep threat. They can go up and catch balls over people. He would also provide a great red zone target.

Lol the guy averaged 20 yards a catch. He's definitely a deep threat.

AJ Green is an inch taller and his arms are more than an inch longer (34 3/8" compared to 33 1/4" which are still long) and he's got the best body control in the NFL for a player his size. Evans dwarfs Parker with his size and length. I agree that Parker can be a deep threat and his YPC average help demonstrate that but I don't think he'll ever be on those two guys' level as a jump ball receiver. He's a better route runner than Evans though and has really good hands with the ability to track the football on deep passes. I'd take Parker over Cooper and maybe White as a deep threat. A lot more goes into it than speed.

you are entitled to what you believe,,How long have you watched Louisville football games? I think what you believe and what I believe what the definition of Deep Threat is,is 2 different things.
