2015 NFL Draft Prospect Preview: Texas A&M
Harrison has been lost among the hype of his highly touted teammates on the outside, but he has provided consistency and strong run blocking in the middle of the line for 30 consecutive games. Harrison has a massive, road-grader body type, but he showed enough athleticism early in his career to see playing time at left tackle. He and Ogbuehi are now the most seasoned veterans on the offensive line this season, so Harrison should finally gain some recognition. He is one of the top guards in the nation heading into the year, and could wind up being selected as early as Day Two of the draft.

He might be in a pass-first, shotgun offense that calls for more pass blocking than run blocking, but Harrison plays with the edge of a guy who blocks for a Power-I scheme. With 30 career starts under his belt, he is as experienced as anyone on the Aggies' line, which will be one of the best in college football once again. Soft-spoken off the field, Harrison is all business on it.

OL Jarvis Harrison
Considering A&M has sent Luke Joeckel, Jake Matthews (and soon Cedric Ogbuehi) to the NFL via the first round, it is easy to understand why the perimeter blockers get most of the attention, but Harrison has been described by Aggies' coaches as their most athletic offensive lineman and he flashes the talent worthy of early round consideration.
Harrison has impressive initial quickness, including a burst to get to the second level that belies his massive frame. He has a thick build, especially in his lower body, that helps him absorb bull rushes and generate power as a drive blocker and is surprisingly fluid in pass protection.
