rd 1 -- marqise lee, wr, usc. thoroughbred characteristics. will shine if all goes well. a little frail, though.
rd 2 -- davante adams, wr, fresno st. could easily be a #1 in a few good years, or the best #2 with mediocre progress.
rd 2 -- deone bucannon, ss, wash st. good body. physicality. but, unsophisticated play. development=stud starter.
rd 3 -- marcus martin, c, usc. west coast water buffalo suited for dealing with nfl nose tackles. needs tech work.
rd 3 -- rashaad reynolds, cb, oregon st. very good player, but crappy backpedal hurts his game some. thus, rd 3.
rd 3 -- trent murphy, de/olb, stanford. aldon insurance. high-rev, somewhat stiff, edge guy.
rd 4 -- shane skov, ilb, stanford. poor-man's mike singletary. old body pushes him to 4th rd.
rd 5 -- bene benwikere, cb/s, san jose st. very smooth athlete. versatile. not a lot of wasted steps. good head.
rd 7 -- kevin graf, ot/g, usc. strong, athletic, underrated tackle. not fat, it's all functional weight (310 lbs).
rd 7 -- ben gardner, de, stanford. undersized, strong, high effort player. kind of like kevin f a g a n from days of old.
rd 7 -- colt lyerla, te, oregon. can develop into one of the better nfl tight ends if he wants to.
the west coast has talent, ehh?
