Marvin Austin suspended

In a move that was expected for many weeks, North Carolina has officially suspended Marvin Austin indefinitely from the football team. Apparently, however, the defensive tackle will be sitting out for a reason not involving any NCAA investigation. “This decision is not a part of the ongoing NCAA review,” Tar Heels head coach Butch Davis stated in a press release issued by the football program. He added that Austin had “neglected his responsibilities to the team” and was being suspended for a violation of team rules and not because of the inquiry into UNC’s academic issues and the possible relationship several players had with agents. By the end of this year Butch Davis will be out and they will be starting from scratch again.

Butch was "building" something good in a very bad way. NC has all kiinds of problems.
