Ladies and Gentlemen step right up, make your predictions on who stays and who goes. Who will be the surprise cut this year, who will have NT on suicide watch? The dates to remember: Aug. 31: Roster cutdown to maximum of 75 players. Sept. 4: Roster cutdown to maximum of 53 players The position battles should be interesting and I think we can already call a few of the new guys locks for the roster. So go on record and tell us who gets to suit up on Sunday and who will be scamming Shaj on Craigslist in November!!!

@TheRealOsCruz you think cuts coming today? >> Good chance. The 49ers will trim 3 players to 75 before tomorrow's practice.

my guess: Cody Wallace, Tony Curtis, JJ Finley

Niners release three players: WR Bakari Grant, OLB Brandon Long and CB Patrick Stoudamire. They are now at 75 players.

I asked before these cuts and no one responded. Maybe now that he cuts are here someone with knowledge will enlighten me: why 5 now and then 22?

Are the Niners trying to sneak Stoudamire or Grant through now to put on the practice squad, or are they just gone?

What's the strategy to these cuts at this time?

that should definitely change if they make the season 18 games

They just did some roster cuts, and they didnt cut that guillory dude? WTF MATE.

Well, if you think about it. That's 11 on offense and 11 on defense. The 4th game no one really plays. Thus you can play those extra 22 guys instead of playing your regular players.

So it's just to get teams out of preseason basically.

I already think he's cut, they're just letting him return kicks. I believe that the roster is already done with about 90% of the team. Why cut Guillory when he's been our main return man in the preseason? They just cut a bunch of absolute non-contributers.

Jarrett Brown (probably 1 QB even though I wouldn't)

Possibly:

Joe John Finley/Tony Curtis

Don't think is eligible but if they are they make it
