Is Jimmy Raye too old and stubborn to change his ways?

we don't exactly block very well, so passing more could lead to more sacks/fumbles

maybe this professional football coordinator knows this
Examples: In the Cardinals and Vikings games, the only time we drove down the field and scored was when we were passing the ball.
It actually should read is sing too stubborn to change his philosophy. Have we all forgotten that sing said he will leave the d to manusky, and help witht the offense. This is the scheme that sing wants. He chose raye because raye saw his vision of a run first team.

This past weekend when gore was out, a reporter asked sing what's his plan b, now that the star is out, and his exact words were what plan b. We don't have one, we HAVE to run the ball. So in actuality it's sing and not raye who wants the offense executed the way it is. Raye just falls in line with what the HC wants, and his attitude on the execution is based on what Sing wants first .

after running the ball

if we didn't run the ball so much prior to that, would it had been effective?

would the D be expecting the pass more?
btw I would love to see us pass more and see what happens

just don't know if it will be consistently as effective as it was on those 2 drives

As I said before. He is mixing it up. We've called more pass plays than run plays. The problem is our talent is only good enough for about 2 drives per game. Not the head coach. Not the OC. Not the plays. It's our talent. Plain and simple.

No he's just inexperienced to be an OC for a NFL football team on the rise, also, I don't think he's a very good OC from what I've seen so far...

He has 38 years of experience, a lot more than those who try to criticize from an uninformed position.
I miss Turner

He might be looking for a job next year.
It would be amazing to bring him back our line and Gore were excellent

I don't. It's not like the niner offense was that super great under him either.

I just wish Raye would pass more on 2nd downs, but of course he won't. He's just another stubborn old goat.
