but by bringing in the bigger names, they got more exposure.

Yes, but it didn't payoff in the ratings. Now, their young talent is suffering at an extent.

They should have been picky of the big names to bring in.

They were fine when they started and should have stayed that way, adding only selective big names and continue developing their young wrestlers.

TNA was fine before Hogan and Bischoff took over.

Ex-WWE Diva In Talks For WWE Return; Who She May Be Paired With

The official website for the Charlotte Observer has posted a video reporting that ex-WWE Diva Stacy Keibler is currently in talks with WWE regarding a return to the company.

Need I remind you Vince Russo was head of creative before Hogan and Bischoff. TNA wasn't fine...they needed someone new to take over creative, Hogan and Bisch were not the answer to that though. The smartest move since Hogan/Bisch came aboard was firing Russo and hiring Dave Lagana. They flirted with Heyman but Dixie was gun shy because he wanted a load of money and wanted to cut a load of talent...he also big plans for Daniel Bryan if he would have been hired, as he wanted to make Bryan his centerpiece of the promotion. He planned to build Bryan up as a submission specialist who would go over a bunch of guys by making them tap culminating in a PPV main event where he beats Angle for the title.

Regardless, Hogan/Bischoff was the popular choice to Dixie due to reputation and the amount of fans that would jump on the bandwagon. As far as popularity, wrestling fans love the Hogan nostalgia. Heyman would've been perfect for them and they missed their shot.
