oh yea, forgot about that dude. Now what happened to him?

he got "injured" right after Aldo said he was gonna destroy him in an interview lol.

eh, I doubt Petis would dodge a chance at the title. Aldo hasn't exactly looked great recently.

it just seemed weird. Pettis accepts fight with Aldo. Aldo, in an interview, discusses how he's gonna brutalize Pettis. a few days later, Pettis pulls out of the fight due to injury. a week after that, he says he should be healthy enough to fight Henderson in September even though Henderson is already fighting TJ Grant.

Dana did have him get second opinion with UFC doctors in Vegas who said he couldn't fight on Aug.31 card. He may be fighting Josh Thompson next at 166 in Houston.

Yea he does, and that card is already shaping up nicely and that fight would make it even better :

Cain vs JDS
Gilbert Melendez vs Diego Sanchez
Hector Lombard vs Nate Marquardt

GSP wants Hendricks to do voluntary drug testing. Can't wait to see the NEW UNDISPUTED UFC WELTERWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD!!!

should be mandatory drug testing for everyone. Otherwise, just go full blown Pride on that ass.

I thought all fighters were tested after a fight?

they are. GSP wants more testing prior to the fight as well.

Silva won't be playing games this time around and will probably win. but let's not discount Weidman here. he's gonna get better, stronger, faster for this fight.
How convenient...TJ Grant is suddenly injured and has been pulled from his fight against Ben Henderson in Milwaukee.

You guys can probably guess the rest. Anthony Pettis has been selected to take Grant's place. Milwaukee is his hometown. Pettis vs. Henderson 2 is now official.
