They did him a solid by booking the rematch that didn't need to happen. Would've been 2nd straight without defending his belt. Zero title defenses so far. And they created a fake interim FW title fight to set up the FW title unification bout on the same card. He decided to dial down his press obligations which is his right to do. Just don't be pissed when they yank the opportunity that wasn't really warranted anyways.

no to mention that interm title was between the person who stylistically would give conor the most difficulties and the person that has already beaten said person...........

Giblert is going nighty night. I turn the volume UP on Barboza fights cuz the sound when those kicks land are full of awesome. You can feel the pain.

Holm is gonna headline and that fight will probably not be very exciting. I expect a cautious approach from both. Rumble vs Glover will likely have a highlight reel finish at least.

there's a blonde on there that's kinda cute
This thing with McGregor could have been a setup between him and Dana White. Perhaps Conor decided he didn't want to fight at 170 anymore, but to save face, and to keep his star value high, they make it look like he wanted to fight Diaz again but was not allowed to. Kinda like how players lunge at other players, hoping their teammates will hold them back.

Now watch Conor go back down in weight. Dana himself even said his next fight would probably be the Aldo/Edgar winner. How would he know Conor wanted to go back down in weight?

Just doesn't make sense for Conor to blow it because of a press conference.

Projecting much? It's simple. McGregor acted like he was too big to play within the rules set forth for all fighters, and Dana put him in his place.
