"We gave him a shot at the title and he lost to Ben Henderson. If he would have won, obviously his deal would have changed if he became champion, which he did not. Then he got stopped by Thomson. Thomson finished him. Now he comes off a win over Gray Maynard and feels like he should be making Justin Bieber money. Nate needs to get back in there and start fighting, win fights again and earn a title shot again.... I've always been good to Diaz. This is the kind of craziness you see with athletes. They end up spinning off and don't make the money they should have made. Nate Diaz has what it takes to be champion or he doesn't, but I'll tell you, there's only one way to find out. He has to come back and fight. He thinks he loses to two of the best guys in the world and deserves more money? In what f**king planet does that make sense?" ~White

lmao, that's awesome. as soon as one dude loses, the fight is over though.
They need to alter the rules a bit. Like say the dude you're fighting taps out, you should have to sit out for about 30 seconds before being allowed back into the action.

saw the interview. Diaz says that his heart isn't really in it anymore and won't fight for "chump" change lol unless it's for the title. also said that he'd rather work at wal-mart.

THANK YOU!!!
Nate Diaz receiving $60k for attending his last fight and an additional $60k for winning. WHY WOULD HE COMPLAIN!?!?!? that's after receiving TWO losses. $120k to go through a 3 week training camp and beat your opponent, don't fckin complain. win a belt, then you can complain.

just for reference anthony pettis made 27K for show and and additional 27K for winning the title vs benson henderson. hypothetically lets say he didnt win that fight and only got 27K for being one of the top 2 or 3 lightweights in the world. you're right diaz gotta win the title and to be honest bendo is my guy but he cuts it close a lot in the octagon but than bendo-diaz fight wasnt even close.

Camp is more like 8-12 weeks depending.
However aside from the 60/60 he also gets a lil sponsorship money plus there are the "performance of the night" bonuses. And the UFC also gives backroom undisclosed bonuses to fighters, and a guy like Nick or Nate likely get nice backroom bonuses because they sell fights.

8-12 normally if it's a title match. have read that most fighters have camps that are around 3-5 weeks.
