With social media, gambling, and fantasy football it has a very good chance to be successful.

It couldn't hang with college basketball the first time around
ESPN barely showed high lights the 1st time around.
If the season is during spring and ESPN and other sports shows don't cover it.... it will be done with in a year again.
They should have season during summer

I think it would be a mistake for Vince to trying to compete with the NFL & College football.
He should make a league that is different with different rules, or even old school rules so that people that like that style of play can watch. There is nothing Vince can do to be able to compete against the top football players in the world in these two incredibly established leagues.

ESPN has some kind of deal with WWE right now, they even show wrestling highlights at times and bring wrestlers on their shows. i don't think that will be an issue this time around. plus, only so many beisbol highlights that you can show in the spring and summer.

Yeah the first time around ESPN was still in it's smugly bash wrestling at every opportunity phase.
